Take a tour with us as we check out the new Google Maps Navigation app featuring turn-by-turn voice prompts. The Droid is the first Android smartphone with Google Maps Navigation.
looks like a good phone?
where is the dial pad?
i think i like this phone?
maybe blackberry storm 2?
you are able to use wifi capabilities on the device and still be on the telephone at the same time. this allows the option of surfing the web on the phone while having the ability of talking on the device as well.

The Droid required a 29.99 unlimited data feature. It is included free with said data package.
you can use web features already. Voice might be possible with LTE.
I hope that a cell phone rep reads this comment….I think it would be cool but maybe that profitable for you guys to allow the consumer the choice to switch to their home internet connection while at home talking on the phone and also using its web features. this would be possible if you had a program similiar to Skype or your own verison of that program pre-installed on the phone giving the consumer the ability save money while using a network that they already pay to use.

Google map data sucks. their turn by turn directions are bad. unless you have a fixed data plan it cost a lot of money. Buy Destintator for Android. You will be far better off.
Anything with android 2.0. I like the HTC Hero but this is cool.
wow! very impressive!@
Right baby

the droid, operating system is much better
its included in the 30$ data plan
yes
i was deciding the same…definately this, wayyy more features and cool stuff
I would have to say the Motorola Droid.
this phone or the samsug rogue?
i gotta wait till feb to get and i am suffering. lol
That navigation is awesome, so much better than any telenav program and even gives the Garmin phone a run for the money. They shouldn’t have solely targeted the iPhone as its competition. If they have marketing once it comes out showing what i can do, this can be a contender.
does it do turn by turn voice nav
It is free.
its free
200 bucks with a new 2 year contract.
will there be a monthly payment for using that navigation feature, on my samsung instinct, i pay 8.50 a month, anyone know?
$200 on a 2yr, gonna be really expensive if u want it with no contract, like me
lol sure, but he said that on all the other DROID video!…he goes around copy and pasting the same thing
