Motorola Droid News

All of a sudden while i was on a call, my phone shut off and it started rebooting. The reboot stage in which it displays the droid sign hangs for a little bit then it shuts off. After it shuts off, i try pressing the power button on top to reboot it and nothing happens. I did a complete batt pull and it still keeps turning my phone completely off at the droid display message. What happened? I didnt even drop it and it was working perfectly fine. I’m not rooted or done anything to my phone.

Does anyone know if Verizon is working on European phone service for the Motorola Droid? I’m going to Budapest in July and would love to take it with me.

Long story short, he has T-Mobile and the Nexus One. I have Verizon and bought the Droid only a few days ago. His first reaction to the news was that his Nexus One is superior to the Droid in every way. He acts as though his phone is God.

According to him, the Nexus One has a 1 Ghz processor, which he claims is faster than both the iPhone and Droid. But aren’t we able to effectively overclock the Droid and run the processor at similar speeds?

Is the Nexus One really that much better?

is there going to be anywhere to download 2.1 from anywhere other than OTA so i don’t have to possibly wait a week?

hey everybody i just got me a brand new milestone droid. i had to get an unlocked one since i dont live in the states and we dont have a verizon network here on guam so yeah.

anyways i was wondering are there any differences with the milestone and the droid itself?

and is rooting the droid the same as the milestone?

okay so all of a sudden, while using the facebook application on the droid, i was trying to refresh the page and this error message came up
"An error has occured while fetching data [null]"
I’ve been trying repeatedly and it still says that. I did a batt pull thinking it would fix it, but it didnt. I’m not like a facebook fanatic but i do want to use the given application on my phone properly otherwise it would render the app useless to me.
Anybody else know wsup w/ this? or possibly a fix or reason to why this is happening. Thanks in advance.

ok i know i posted threads here explaining my problems but i cant seem to get a definite answer. So i setup yahoo on my phone and changed the setting manually and the notifications is turned on and everything. The problem is that it doesnt notify me of when i get new emails the only way i can tell if i got new emails is by going into the email and checking and then i see i got a bunch of new emails. If i take the battery out and turn it back on then it shows me i got new emails but after that it doesnt notify me. Im wondering if its my phone or what i mean i hear some ppl say yahoo works fine on their phones and others are having diff problems so im confused if its my phone or what. Im also wondering with this new update coming out will if fix this problem im having? I just want to know if its my phone thats messed up or is it all the droids having problems?
