DockRunner no longer showing up in the Market Place since 2.2 update

Posted on 15th August 2010 by garret in Droid Updates | Tags: , , , , , , , , , ,
I had Dockrunner on my MOTO Droid prior to the update and it worked great. Since updating to 2.2 it started force closing. I uninstalled it with the intent to reinstall, but I cannot find it in the Market Place any longer. Is it just because of the update? Is there anyway I can get it back? I have even used the bar code to search and it can’t be found….

“USB Connected” Notification not showing up

I searched the forums to make sure this question wasn’t posted, so if it is please forgive me, I somehow missed it;

I’ve been plugging my Droid into my laptop’s USB port for some time now with no issues. Up until now I always got the "USB Connected" notification in the upper left hand corner of my home screen on the droid, but now I don’t see it. I re-started both the computer and the phone and used all the different USB ports with the same result. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so how did you resolve it?

P.S. I am still working with 2.1(update1), the 2.2 push hasn’t come my way yet.

Caller ID not showing up.

Posted on 13th July 2010 by garret in Droid Updates | Tags: , , , , , , ,
For the past couple of days, when people call me, the caller ID shows up as Unknown instead of showing their #.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Help: Text Messages not showing up in notification bar

I’ve gone into the settings for my text messages and checked the Notifications box under Notification Settings, but they’re not showing up. Some people’s texts do, but most people don’t. I have to check my messages every so often to see if I have any, which is a pain. Anyone have any tips?

I’m going crazy over here searching through random settings trying to figure out what’s up.

Is The Droid Phone Showing iPhone, TomTom and Nokia the Way Of The Future?

Google does not just merely produce software, but intergrates  speech pattern recognition and an online search capability into it’s routeplanner that comes with this high performance – Droid Phone ( Sreen resolution: 854*480 Pixel). Both of these attributes provide the the user with an unbeatable and comprehensive Routeplanning capability right from their mobile phone, which reacts to every word/command.

This is not merely interesting in a technological sense – Google is actually breaking new boundries within the mobile phone industry – putting Apple and Nokia in second place by not only providing the routeplanning capability free of charge (which Apple and Nokia have failed to do thus far), but  also certainly outperforming the two with its real life routeplanning display and speech recognition capabilities – which are two of the more basic operating capabilties that Google has to boast, thanks to it’s Google Search opereating features.
Increasingly , it would seem that  the Droid is starting to look like the definitive alternative to the restricted functionalities of the iPhones or Nokias.

In addition to the The Motorola Droid Phone 2.0 Android operating system, the Droid Phone has some more fascinating characteristics to boast:

Evernote not showing images in text note

I’ve sent this question to Evernote support but since I don’t have a Premium account it goes to the bottom of the list so I thought I’d direct it to all of you who are using Evernote on your Droids.
I have put some web pages and other things into the PC 3.5 version of Evernote. When it syncs the images contained in the note show in the thumbnails but not in the note itself on the Droid. Everything works fine on the PC and on my iPod touch.
Evernote says it should work on the Droid also but I have not been able to see the images. they suggested I sign out of Evernote on the Droid and sign back in. When I did that the images showed in the thumbs but still not in the note (previously they did not show in the thumbs either). I’ve rebooted my Droid but still No Joy.
Is anyone else using Evernote on their Droid having this same issue? I’m trying to narrow the problem.
