since i did the manual 2.2 update, i have had a minor (although pretty damn annoying) problem. after unlocking- it takes two swipes to slide to another screen.
definitely slower than 2.1 where the response was immediate. it almost feels as if there is a default ‘2 swipe to change’ screen setting.
any ideas?
edit- am i correct in seeing that there is no ’silent’ option as well?

Here’s a video of one of our unlock screens which we fully customized to fit the Philadelphia Flyers. Notice the background, slider, slider color, clock color, and fonts are all fully customized.
You can use any combination of pictures, colors, and/or text to make your unlock screen for your Droid in the same exact way.
If you want to learn the necessary steps for creating your own custom unlock screen, make sure to check out our blog at 2guys1droid.tk and watch for our video to be released this week about how it’s all done. If you have any other questions, see if we’ve already answered them either on our blog or youtube channel. If you can’t find an answer, send us an email at 2guys1droid@gmail.com. Hope we can help you guys make your Droids as fancy as ours.

I’m hoping that someone here can help me. My Moto Droid got wet the other day and stopped working. I put it in a bag of rice for a few days and noticed that the LCD was on. The screen however, was dead. I tried to run my finger in the pattern I had set up and I could feel the "bumps" and then my alarm went off. The phone seems to be working (I didn’t try calling it as I had another phone activated by then) but the screen is dead.
Questions-
If I go to VZ and just say "my screen died", will they know it got wet from some indicator somewhere?
Is there a third party place that repairs these or sells screens?
I have the insurance but I am trying to avoid using it as it is $89 and I have had to use it once for a lost phone already
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I have a Motorola Droid with 2.1. I have done a factory reset and everything on the phone is stock. I have searched many topics on this and found none that had any resolution more than just restarting the phone.
After viewing apps, making calls, or doing anything not on the home screen, when I press the home key to return to the home menu, all my icons and widgets are gone.
The background is still on the phone, and I can move between the 3 screens, which are all blank. I can still access the pullup menu with all of my applications and the applications run fine. I can make phone calls.
Powering off and on again fixes the issue, but it happens again at a random point after its turned back on. Might be 5 minutes, or a couple days. Doing more today than ever. I cant nail down a specific app or combination that makes it occur. I will keep trying.
Should I be contacting Verizon? I’m still under warranty and I’ve f-ed my usb jack up, so i’d love a new phone.
Thanks!
Jason

HELLO —–Hope this post is in the correct place as I am learning this Tapatalk.
I am trying to get only 1 of any app or other function on each screen, but I cannot delete anything to the trash can except on the first (home) screen. I want to do this with apps as well as with browser, phone, and other functions. In other words, I don’t want any duplications from screen to screen. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance . I must be missing one step. I really appreciate the forums and all the help.

Aright, from what I understand, the Droid wallpaper, to have it stretch for all 3 screens is 960×864.. However, I am trying to figure out, what is the resolution of just the main home screen, the middle one. My wallpaper has an image that I want centered on the home screen, and plain black that would fill the sides.

I have tried a few searches and must not be using the correct terms. I want to modify both the multi media dock and car docks home screens with the apps I use. For instance I would like to have Pandora on the home screen instead of having to go home and then select Pandora.
