OK rooted moto Droid did the navigation and installed that voice thing that u have to install an realized I don’t have speech any suggestions??

I just got the Droid. The screen quit working, so I am trying to do a battery pull to see if that resets it.

The problem is, I can’t figure out how to get the friggin battery cover off :icon_evil:

I am trying to do what the recommend here:

But it will not come loose/off.

Any suggestions?

I’m new to the Droid. It does not appear that any apps have a button to click to exit. What is the standard process to gracefully close out an app? Simply click the back button till you are at the home screen or just hit the home screen button itself? Would this leave the app running in the background?

Is it possible? Or has it not been rooted? Can it tether wifi like the Droid?

pre installed google search bar has disappearred. Anyone else have the same experience ?

Hey, I’ve been running a 2.0.1 ROM for awhile now. I currently switched to Pete’s Bugless Beast 2.1 V0.7.. I’ve fallen in love with the stability of it.. but it’s appearance isn’t the greatest.

Does anyone know of a custom theme that works for 2.1? I prefer red over black.. I’d rather not have the smoked glass theme.

Just got off the phone with DataVis about the RoadSync product. Spoke with Rob about when the Droid would be supported. He spoke with Development and they are scheduled to release a Droid compatible version within the next week to two. Great news for anyone trying to work with the native Exchange support. Pricing is supposed to stay the same at the special price of $9.99.

Does anyone else have this issue with their Handcent sending out MULTIPLE texts to people you sent texts to within the last week?? Mine has resent texts to people several times over the last week and it has done it massively.. It usually happens when I am having trouble with service or something..
