question on new google voice search for emails

Ok, when you watch the video from google on new voice search w/2.2 upgrade, shows that you can say a name, along w/ email message pretty much at same time etc. When ever I try it, it pulls up contact along w/a spot for message, but i have to hit microphone again to get it going. Is there a setting im missing????? other than that it seems to work better at finding correct info etc.

Google Goggles visual search demo

Here’s a demo of Google Goggles running on a Motorola DROID. The app allows users to take photos of things and, in theory, get pertinent search results back. My experience was less than smooth, though. More info: www.mobileburn.com

Deleted browser

My phone came with a little web browser/google search icon which was at the top of the main screen. I accidentally deleted this and I can’t figure out how to get it back. Can someone please help me with this? Thank you.

HELP! I lost my phone widget/icon, how do I get it back?

I was goofing around at work with my droid and I deleted the google search widget. Well, I found out how to get it back. I tried the same with the blue phone icon when I sent it to the trash, but now I can not find it.

So basically, does anyone know how to put the blue phone icon back on the home screen?

Thanks for the help,

Ben

Android Phone Tips: Compare the HTC Eris with the Motorola Droid

www.bestbuymobile.com The Best Buy Mobile team points out differences in HTC Eris and Motorola Droid models. Im Rusty Harding, Sales lead at Best Buy Mobile in Chelsea, New York and Im gonna tell you how the Droid Eris is different from the Motorola Droid. For starters, the Motorola Droid comes with 16GB of onboard memory whereas the Droid Eris comes with 8GB. Still enough space for all your music, movies, documents, and all the fun applications you download. It is manufactured by HTC and as soon as you start up with the phone, you can already see a difference. For example there are active applications I can actively do a Google search. I can also actively look at a Facebook feed, actively follow CNN, I can actively follow everyone on Twitter. All this I can operate with without opening an application, log in and wait for something to load. Of course, as you can see, there is no tack tile keypad. Everything is virtually done on screen. For some people they prefer the feeling of a physical keypad but if you want a lightweight device thats easy to move around with, the Eris is the phone for you.

Is any one else having issues with this widget. On my Droids and my wife’s, this thing locks up and wont let me type. Then I try to remove it and it wont remove. I then have 2 of them on the screen but can’t type anything into the field. I have to totally reboot my phone. Its really annoying.
