Love my DROID except when I look at the screen on a bright clear day and see my reflection, and realize that it is this awareness that is really me. Here is an idea about how to solve this problem: (1) Place the DROID in a Motorol Multimedia Station and leave it there. (2) Add a second wireless telephone that does not have the glare problem the DROID has and forward phone calls to it. I feel the value of reliable, efficent communications is worth the differential cost between two wireless lines and one line less the cost of a landline no longer needed. The differential cost estimate I made is about $10 per month. What touch screen cell phone should I buy for use outside on a bright clear day is a question on my mind, can someone help me?

I was wondering if there was a place to manually upload the FroYo 2.2 22b update so the flash will work on my girls phone.

Ok, on my wife’s phone she has had a couple of times lately where when she makes a call it doesnt go through and just sits there. When she reboots all is well, but she does have to reboot in order for it to be ok again. Anyone else seen this? Advise?

I just updated my droid (the original one) to build number FRG22D. I had already rooted and was using wifi tether but now it doesn’t work. Easyroot says that my droid is successfully rooted but the root programs dont work. What can I do to go back to the way it was before? Downgrade, a new easy way to root? Please let me know. THanks.

I love the changes to the clock in froyo. I think the screensaver mode is awesome. Does anybody know how I can change the color of the displayed time while the phone is in the multimedia dock and in screensaver mode? Currently the color is green and I would like it to be red…..maybe even increase the font size too if possible.

Anyone else having trouble with swype and ota 22D? I can type with the swype keyboard but cannot swype with it to put words in.

I downloaded the leaked android 2.2 and flashed my phone. Now, I have read I will not be able to get the update that will make flash available in the market. How do I fix this. Do I try and revert back? If so, how? Do I just bite the bullet and take it back to verizon and fall on my sword?
