Hey guys I know my camera sucks it’s my brothers phone camera, my digital camera wasn’t charged… But here is proof that the wait is over

Droid v. Blackberry
Hi, this might sound crazy to all of the Droid lovers, but I want to get my mom some sort of smartphone for Mother’s Day and I’m trying to find out what would suit her best. I love my Droid, but she uses her laptop most of the time for Facebook, she also uploads pix from her digital camera to her laptop. She uses her computer for many different things. At this time, she is using the Verizon chip thing (can’t think of what it’s called) for internet on the laptop. Can’t you connect to the internet thru the Blackberry? Is it as fast as her chip thing? Btw, the owns her own business and constantly checks her e-mail. Someone please advise.:wacko:

How to transfer pics from Motorola Droid to computer?
I am not the most tech savvy person, so I apologize in advance.
I use Picassa to store my photos on my laptop. When I use my regular digital camera, I simply connect it to my computer and voila: the pics all upload from camera to Picassa. Easy.
Not so with my Droid! Is there a place online with step-by-step instructions on how to transfer from Droid to Laptop? I have tried 3 times, and keep getting an error message saying "import aborted". I can see all the photos from Droid in the tray on Picassa, but they never finish uploading. I have logged in and out of Picassa, but nothing. No photos.
Is it so hard? What am I doing wrong?
I plug the USB in my droid, then to lap top. Then I select "mount" like I am prompted to do by my Droid. I really like my Droid camera, but if it is always this hard to transfer files, what is the point?
Sorry for the rant. I am just frustrated. I guess I just want to plug things in, and then have them work!
