Anyone notice that since the last release of LockBot Pro 1.16 that it makes you unlock the phone using the native lock screen & the Lockbot Pro screen? Since turned off theLockbot Pro but was hoping there is another solution as I liked being able to customize the lockscreen.

Hey guys, I’m not new to Android, I had a G1 that I never messed with much, and now I have the Nexus One. I’ve rooted it and done all sorts of things. Flashing Radio’s and Kernel’s and I’m currently addicted to CM6 Nightly’s. I flash em, and post links on twitter nightly. lol.
Anyways, I’ve never done anything with the Motorola Droid. I don’t know how it’s recovery works, looks like, what the key’s are. Or anything about the Moto Droid Community.. I just got a Moto Droid and I need some help Please!
My friend from work’s Moto Droid got the 2.2 Update and he said it messed it up, started rebooting, forgetting contacts, & Loosing text messages. So Verizon did a factory wipe. Couldn’t fix it so they replaced it.. He still had the old Droid so today I got it
. I power it on and I just get a boot loop. That is all. I’ve read booting to recovery is holding "X" while booting. but all I get is this
http://twitpic.com/2lpio0
is that the stock recovery on the Droid? and then if I want better options I need Amon, or Clockwork or someone like that? Or can I get to some options from that screen and factory wipe?
I’ve also read something about this.
"Unroot/Unbrick using .sbf post from -ikithme-"
Is this my first step. Or is there more to the stock recovery. I just first wanna try wiping it to see how things go. but basically I get an endless boot loop and I have no idea what the noobs at the verizon store may have tried, or done. Any help would be extremely appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi, I’ve been doing the whole rooted thing… its been fun. But I’ve had an issue with my camera and gallery for a while, and its finally annoyed me enough to get drastic. I’m either going to go completely out the box stock and it fixes my camera issue & I re-root, or I get back to OTB stock & my cameras still screwy and I do a warranty replacement. Either way I’m having issues finding a bone stock update.zip (preferably 2.1 if I can do that). I’m thinking if I can find that, un root with easy root, then use recovery to install the stock update. Am I all wrong with this? I don’t have a computer, so I’ve gotta do it all on the droid in question. Rom manager wouldn’t do it either, it gave me errors when it tried to install any of the provided stock roms. Sry if this is in the wrong place, I’m too frustrated to think clearly right now

Hello all,
I have been looking high & low for something ether in an app or custom script to allow for different alerts for different things ie; when Email comes in it one alert, when a txt msg come threw it a different alert, and so on and so on. To me this is something that is missing at the core of android, I mean WM6.1 can do this why can I.
Thank you in advance for your help

I have a question for anyone who knows the answer…. I picked up my phone today off the counter, where it was laying face down with the screen off. (I have a Motorola Droid 1, btw) I pushed the button on the top to turn on the screen, and to my surprise, instead of the unlock screen, I saw some news and weather screen with my wallpaper in the background as though the screen were transparent. Any idea what I did or how? I kinda like that. Also, can I set that as my default screen when I open my phone like that?

Hi all,
I need some serious wisdom from you smart people.
I had to delete my original gmail that I used to set up my Droid last year. I factory reset the same phone and created a new Gmail account. Why do I have to buy my apps all over again if I am using the same phone, credit card etc.?
Isn’t there something that Google can do to verify it is still me and the same phone that I want to download my apps to?
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Who can I contact?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
NYC-BG dancedroid

I have had advanced task killer on my phone forever. I play a game called Raging Thunder online with my phone alot. The game freezes up often. I use the task killer to end it, otherwise, when I try to start it again, I get a blank screen or the frozen still frame it last displayed.
After seeing so many members tell others it was not needed, I decided to un-install it. I have the new 2.2 and was still having it freeze occasionally so I thought I’d try it without the task killer on the phone. (I’m running my droid 1 stock BTW)
So the first time the darn game freezes, I go to start it again, blank screen. :icon_evil:
I look around for another way to end it without re-booting the phone. I go to settings, applications, running services and I don’t see it there. I proceed to click on some things I see there but I don’t kill anything cause the couple things I click on warn of bad things happening with services I do recognize, like weather etc…Then all of a sudden my phone is frozen; had to do a battery pull. I think that’s only the 2nd time I ever been forced to do that in 9 months of ownership.
Please enlighten me about another method that’s equally as fast as clicking the old TK & ending the program, then promptly re-starting it to play again.
I’m waiting for the answer that works. If I don’t get an answer that works for me, I’m re-installing the task killer.

1. Can fields or form input be added to Mot Droid that can inable the
Latatude and Longitude to work with a find comand. In other words I want to be able to save my Lat & Lon in my contact list and use the find to locate a position with Google.
2. I also would like to add a value in Contact for my Subdivision data. I would rather not use a general tab such as address or Notes. I would rather create a place on the contact form that says "Sub: and inter my data here.
